Annie Smock
New York CityAnnie is a Brooklyn-based dance educator, choreographer, and performer. She received her MFA in Dance from NYU Tisch School of the Arts while simultaneously earning her MA in Dance Education from NYU Steinhardt. Originally from Salt Lake City, she holds a BFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah where she was the president of Orchesis Honors Society and Captain of the Women's Water Polo team. She was first introduced to Pilates while at the University of Utah and has found it a useful, challenging, and empowering modality throughout her career as a movement artist and athlete. As a Core Mat I and II certified instructor and Power Pilates Comprehensive apprentice, she is excited to use her love of movement and pedagogical knowledge to empower others. Abs in and up!
